Mie Hee Christensen (b. 1988) is a photojournalist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. She graduated from The Danish School of Media and Journalism in 2017. Since then she’s been working as a freelance photographer. She has also worked as a photo editor for Danish financial Daily Børsen, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a video production company.

Her main passion is getting close to people so as to tell their stories in a sincere and unprejudiced way. Stories that might be small and personal but often are an example of a greater issue. Her main goal is to promote understanding of others and expose her audience to a world, a life and an everyday, they might know or understand beforehand. 

Mie Hee Christensen is currently holding the position of part time photo editor at financial daily Børsen while still working with portrait, reportage, and video. She is available for assignments and photo editorial work for newspapers, magazines, corporate communication and NGOs.
